Michael & Jaymi attend the Construction and Mining Expo in Perth to launch the business to a wider market. The three-day event was a great success for Worthy Parts, with the team adding many new contacts to our expanding database.

Worthy Parts attend the Queensland Mining Exhibition in MacKay as an exhibitor. We love to get involved in these events to network with suppliers and clients and keep up to date with the latest industry trends

Worthy Parts win the 2016 Goldfields Business and Employee Awards – Business with 5 to 10 Employees hosted by the Kalgoorlie-Boulder Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

Worthy Parts attend the MINExpo INTERNATIONAL in Vegas. The five-day event covers the entire industry and provides a great international networking opportunity for our sales team.

Worthy Parts join the Independent Equipment Dealers Association, which is a trusted group of machinery dealers from around the world. It allows us to keep up to date with the industry at a global level.

Worthy Parts reach a new milestone, clocking 500,000 visitors to our website and growing more each day.

Worthy Parts attend Queensland Mining & Engineering Exhibition MacKay as an exhibitor. A perfect opportunity to showcase what we do and network with others in the industry.

Coinciding with the WPIL Auction & Expo, Worthy Parts launch the Mining Legends Project. The concept sees numerous businesses donate their labour and parts to completely rebuild a R2900G Loader, with the proceeds from the sale of the machine going to various charities.

Worthy Parts, together with Industry Link Media launch our very first Auction & Expo. A two-day event in Kalgoorlie-Boulder, showcasing over 100 exhibitors and 3000 visitors.

Worthy Parts personnel completes Certified Machinery and Equipment Appraisal qualification. This assists us in evaluating machinery and equipment and allows us to create better solutions for our clients.

Our sales team attend the Bauma Expo in Munich. Held every three years, this event allowed our team to network with many international clients and experience the industry at a global level.

Worthy Parts attend QME Mount Isa as an exhibitor. A great opportunity to network with leaders in the industry and touch base with buyers and sellers in the Queensland region

Worthy Parts moves to permanent facility at 8 Craig Road, West Kalgoorlie. The new property provides a larger space for operations for our Kalgoorlie branch.

Worthy Parts partners with White Room Finance Pty Ltd. to give custom financial solutions for our buyers. When dealing with heavy equipment and parts, companies need solutions that will cater to their needs and situation. Worthy Parts Finance takes into consideration the different aspects of your business and can offer a better solution and payment plan.

Worthy Parts and Industry Link Media launch two separate websites, no longer coming under the same banner. We did this to clearly define to our clients, the services provided by each business. Read the details here.

To coincide with the WPIL Auction & Expo, the Mining Legends Project was completed, and a Gala Ball was held to thank all the donors and announce the total funds raised. The Mining Legends Project was founded to support Miners’ Promise and other community charities. With the help of many generous donors across the mining sector we were able to rebuild a CAT R2900G Loader and raise over $800,000 for charity. Read the 9 News report here.

Worthy Parts, together with Industry Link Media, launch our Auction and Expo event for the second time. 108 businesses were involved in the two-day event, providing a fantastic opportunity for networking with some of the leaders in our field. 

Our Perth branch move into its current facility at 7 Marmalade Way, Maddington. The new location allows us to expand our operations in and around the Perth area, with a larger warehouse, workshop, and office space.

Worthy Parts receive Motor Vehicle Dealers License from the MTA WA, which enables us to buy and sell road registered vehicles.

Worthy Parts add another facility to our growing business in Coolgardie, Western Australia. This property provides us with another space to store machinery and parts and is located 40km west of Kalgoorlie on the transit between Kalgoorlie and Perth.

Worthy Group has taken over long-running mechanical repair business Boyes Equipment SVS.
Labelled a “strategic acquisition”, Worthy Group officially took over the business on Tuesday, with more than 50 staff transferring under the change.
Worthy Group managing director Michael Worthington said Boyes would complement Worthy’s business direction, which already provides tailored procurement and disposal solutions for its mining clients.

Worthy Parts started in 2014 when founder Michael Worthington could not believe the amount of waste which was happening in the mining sector. He came up with an idea to recoup some money from leftover or redundant parts which accumulate in workshop stores all over the industry.

Launching a mining equipment e-commerce website has led the Kalgoorlie Boulder business to take an active role in the global sales market. Michael and Jaymi Worthington are now proud to bring up 10 years in business in 2024.

Although this has arrived quite quickly, the whole of group approach is only in its infancy. With the solutions focused business, concentrating on ensuring clients have a range of options with Worthy Group to provide services to maintain maximum productivity and minimal touch points for clients.
