Nick Marr has embarked on an exciting new chapter, relocating from Kalgoorlie, Western Australia, to Mackay, Queensland, while continuing his work with Worthy Parts. With over 24 years of industry experience, Nick brings a deep understanding of the earthmoving sector and has developed an extensive network across Western Australia’s mining regions. This new move will allow him to focus on a crucial role: buying and selling earthmoving equipment to support Worthy Parts’ growing client base.
Since joining Worthy Parts in March 2022, Nick has used his practical knowledge of heavy machinery and leading industry brands to provide valuable insights to clients and colleagues alike. His hands-on experience on big sites and workshops has given him a unique perspective on the demands of the industry, from the operational requirements of machinery to the specific needs of site managers and equipment operators.
Nick’s connection to Worthy Parts runs deep, going back to the company’s inception in 2014 when he worked alongside Managing Director Michael Worthington at Force Equipment. Now, in Mackay, he’s eager to strengthen relationships with local buyers and sellers, expanding Worthy Parts’ network and providing clients with top-quality earthmoving equipment solutions.
As he settles into Queensland, Nick is excited about the lifestyle and fishing, but also enthusiastic about working with both new and existing contacts to meet their equipment needs. His focus on sourcing and selling reliable, high-quality, hard to find equipment, underscores Worthy Parts’ commitment to supporting the mining and heavy equipment industry. This new role marks an exciting step forward for both Nick and Worthy Parts as they continue to serve clients globally.
