The Saint Barbara’s Festival has become an integral part of the annual Goldfields events calendar, solidifying the great partnership that exists between the mining industry and the local community of Kalgoorlie-Boulder. This year’s Saint Barbaras Festival parade was amazing!
The festival recognises the ongoing socio-economic contributions the mining sector makes to the region and it is a way for the local community to come together to celebrate all that is great about living in Australia’s largest regional outback city! The Patron Saint of Miners, St Barbara’s Day has become the iconic date in the Goldfields calendar to celebrate our mining heritage with all the community.
