Incredibly proud of Lake View Cricket Club’s stealer season of Goldfields Cricket this year! The guys won the Eastern Goldfields Cricket Association’s A grade Champions Grand Final yesterday at Sir Richard Moore Oval.
Beating Great Boulder by four wickets, after a week of uncertainty if play would go ahead given the temperamental wet weather conditions! Great Boulder would have won the premiership if the game was a wash out as had been predicted.
It caps a remarkable comeback for Lake View under new coach Nick Dillon, claiming their first title in six years after winning just five games in the previous two seasons.
